LE Minerals Limited (formerly Lithium Energy Limited) (ASX: LEL) is a minerals exploration and development company, with a clear focus on battery minerals projects, including the White Plains Lithium Brine Project in Utah, United States, the Burke Graphite Project in Queensland and the Capricorn Gold-Copper Belt Project also in Queensland.
All these minerals are fundamentally different and yet inexorably linked together as complimentary partners in the batteries of today and the future.

Lithium, with an atomic number three (after hydrogen and helium) is the lightest solid element in the universe. It is an exceptional conductor of heat and electricity and these properties together with its light weight, contribute towards it being ideal for use in modern batteries. The long-term prospects for lithium are very strong, driven primarily by the expected growth in demand for lithium batteries for electric vehicles and a more sustainable way of living.
